Standard Net height for Men’s Volleyball: 7 feet, 11 5/8 inches or 2.43 meters. Volleyball Net Height for men aged 55-69: 7 feet, 9 and 5/8 inches or 2.38 meters. Volleyball Net Height for men above 70+: 7 feet, 6 inches or 2.29 meters. Volleyball net height for Women – 7 feet, 4 and an eighth inches or 2.24 meters.
When playing volleyball on the grass, women’s net height should be 7’, 4 1/8”, while that of men should be 7’, 11 5/8”. Always measure the height of the net from the level of the ground and not from the top of the grass.
6. The net height for grades 7 & 8 shall be the same as the net height for grades 9-12 at 7’4 1/8”, per NFHS Rule. 7. Match limitations for each 7 & 8 grade team and player are 20 matches on no more than 20 playing dates. 8. Postseason Tournament—These regulations permit one postseason tournament not to exceed four matches.

Nets used in competition typically measure 39 inches wide and between 31 feet, 6 inches and 33 feet in length. The net extends slightly beyond the court width of 29 feet 6 inches, which also measures 59 feet in length.
Youth volleyball net size & height. For youth volleyball, the regulation net height is the same for girls and boys (ages 11-12): 7 feet (2.13 meters) tall. Boys age 10-and-under use the same net height as youth volleyball. Girls age 10 and under use a slightly shorter net at 6 feet, 6 inches (1.98 meters) tall.
Height of Net. The net in junior high volleyball is determined by the International Volleyball Federation. The organization has prescribed the height of the net for boys and girls who are 13 and 14 should be 7 feet 4 1/8 inches high. Boys and girls who are 12 and under, should use a net that is 7 feet high.
